The Old Ottawa South Community Association is currently recruiting members from the community to join our Board of Directors or to sit on one of our active Committees!
While we currently have openings in the following areas on the board, we welcome community members with a variety of backgrounds and interests.

OSCA's mission is to build a strong sense of community and engage the residents of Old Ottawa South through our various programs, services and activities.
The Old Ottawa South Community Association (OSCA) is a group of community volunteers whose goal is to make Old Ottawa South (OOS) a pleasant, fulfilling, and meaningful place to live. OSCA operates out of the Ottawa South Community Centre, aka the "Old Firehall", at 260 Sunnyside Avenue. OSCA is managed by a group of volunteers from the community, who form the OSCA Board of Directors and Executive. A variety of committees made up of interested board members and residents, help run OSCA's activities.

We strive to improve the quality of life in our community in a variety of ways including:
Social events; educational, sports, fitness, and recreational programming; enriching after school and before school programs, camps and PD day programs; working actively to promote, communicate and protect the interests of the community, especially with regard to planning and future developments; to keep the community informed about activities and opportunities of interest; to initiate new programs and policies from time to time to benefit the community
Together the Board and Committees provide strategic direction and ensure organizational accountability to support our staff who manage the operations of the organization.
