Have a say about Ottawa’s cultural scene by attending a public consultation event between November 16th to December 1st, 2018. Check out the event details here

It’s important – did you know that Ottawa cultural sites and events drew audiences of over 5 million in 2017? And approximately 51,000 residents are employed in culture and tourism? Cultural events include film and food festivals, heritage and theatre districts, rural museums, urban concerts, and street art.

Civics Boot Camp Spring 2018

Civics Boot Camp is an interactive and experiential six-week program targeting people who are passionate about Ottawa. It is designed for those who want to know more about how the city works – people who have ideas for positive change but need inspiration, community support and/or knowledge to make it happen.

Canada 150 Awards

In recognition of Canada 150, a limited number of commemorative pins containing copper from the West block of Parliament Hill, from 1916-1996, are being awarded to Canadians across the country who embody the Canada 150 themes of diversity and inclusion, reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, youth, and the environment.  

The deadline to nominate is October 31, 2017.
