Subsidies Available to Residents of Old Ottawa South
Where does the OSCA Subsidy Fund come from? OSCA has a small amount of money available to help out residents of Old Ottawa South. The Subsidy Fund is drawn directly and entirely from program fees from our participants or fundraising. None of the funding comes from Municipal, Provincial or Federal Governments.
The process is as follows:
-
A subsidy will only be considered for residents of OOS applying to OSCA prior to registration by using the Subsidy Aplication Form available in the office.
- A subsidy will be provided only where there is demonstrated financial need by one or more of the following: a) Receipt of Ontario Works; b) Receipt of Ontario Disability Pension; c) Receipt of Childcare Benefits; d) A current T4 Slip/Income Tax Return.
- Subsidies are limited to a maximum of 1/3 of the program cost of one program per family member per session up to a maximum of $200 per person per year and to a maximum of $500 per family per year.
