A number of Old Ottawa South residents were recognised with Whitton Awards. These included Deirdre McQuillan, Mike Lascelles, Michael Loewen, Lyne Burton, Joan Garvey, and Doug Stickley.
ECOS was honoured with a City of Ottawa Environmental Award.
Former OSCA President Greg Wright received a Mayor's Award for Community Service.
