Thanks to everyone who attended the fifth annual Whitton Awards ceremony on March 6.
My sincere congratulations to the winners and thanks to volunteers from Acacia fraternity, the Girl Guides, Hopewell Band and our co-presenters: the Hon. Mitchell Sharp, the Hon. Flora MacDonald, Rod Bryden, Celia Franca, Kate Greaves and Suzanne Watters.
I also thank the many local businesses who generously donated: Ogden Entertainment, Bank Street Framing, Loblaws, Labatt's, Zippy Print and Gilby Canada.
