Chef John Taylor to Receive OSCA Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award

At the last OSCA Winter Carnival, when chilli reserves were running low, Old Ottawa South resident and well-known chef John Taylor offered to run up to his new restaurant, Taylor's Genuine Food and Wine Bar, and pull some soup together for us. David Bouse's Volunteer Philosophy

David Bouse's Volunteer Philosophy and Homage to Gardening

  1. To help plant the seeds of interest concerning one's community and how we can make it better
  2. To fertilize that interest within others; and
  3. to promote, encourage, and draw attention to the achievements of others as an aspect of planting seeds
(David says he is honoured to simply be part of Old Ottawa South's community volunteer team. He believes this award is for everyone on that team.--Editor)
