On November 12, 2009, OSCA president Michael Jenkin and OSWatch co-chair Brendan McCoy gave a presentation to Ottawa City Council outlining OSCA's opposition to the Lansdowne Live redevelopment proposal from the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG). Council subsequently approved OSEG's proposal, with some conditions, including that there be a further traffic study to determine the redevelopment's true impact on Old Ottawa South and surrounding communities.
