Background:
At this date there are 2 community events that OSCA has agreed to insure under its liability insurance policy. They are the annual Art in Windsor Park and the Brighton Beach Clambake. In the past we have been approached by such groups as the Pansy Avenue Fire and Ice Festival and L’Amicale’s picnic in Windsor Park. The board agreed to not insure either of these events.
Policy:
The OSCA board agrees to consider including a community-wide event organized by Old Ottawa South residents under its liability insurance policy but permission has to be requested by the group annually in writing with a full description of the activities that will take place during the event. Each new proposed community-wide event run by residents of Old Ottawa South will be considered separately and a decision will be make by the OSCA board of the day.
