OSCAOver the next few months the nominating committee will be working to identify interested candidates to fill the twenty positions that make up the OSCA Board of Directors. These are interesting and challenging volunteer positions, where you can contribute directly to making life better for everyone in Old Ottawa South. If you think you might like it, contact OSCA soon. Candidates are elected at the OSCA Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is held every year in May. This year's AGM is Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at 7:30 pm, at our temporary location at Southminster United Church.
While some board members plan to return for the 2010-2011 term, others will not. Joining the board is a great way to volunteer and really make a difference in your community! If you aren't currently an OSCA member, register right away--you need to be a "member in good standing" for at least 3 months prior to the AGM. You can register for OSCA membership when you create an account for this website.
