Welcome to the New OSCA Website!

Photo by: Tom AlfoldiThe Old Ottawa South Community Association (OSCA) presents: our new website! We've changed the look and added new features we think you'll find useful, whether you are an OSCA member, a resident, or even just hope to be one someday. Please have a look around, and be sure to register for an account. It's free! As a registered user you can submit your own articles and event notices, post pictures to the photo gallery and join the discussion forums to make this your community networking site!

Note: if you are currently registered with our old site, you will need to create a new account.

If you are a resident, we encourage you to become a member of OSCA too, which you can do at the same time you register to the site, or later on by editing your account information.

You'll still find our popular Programs here, and you can sign up for them at the click of a button. The new-and-improved Program Guide is now browsable online - no more downloading a large PDF file to read.

Our events calendar displays events in, around, or of relevance to Old Ottawa South (OOS), and if you subscribe, an events newsletter will appear in your emailbox weekly to keep you up to date.

Join our discussion forums, or start your own, to discuss all things relevant to your community with your neighbours.

All OSCA board meeting agendas, minutes and related reports are posted, so you can keep abreast of current OOS issues and attend a meeting if there is a topic of interest to you. You can find out all about OSCA, its board members and committees, and discover volunteer opportunities, too.

Current and past issues of our community newspaper, the OSCAR, are still available, and are now searchable.

This is also the home of the Ottawa South History Project, an ongoing research project by local history buffs to discover and share the community's unique history.

Finally, you'll find all kinds of information about OOS, its services, things to do, local schools, clubs, and other resources under the Community menu.

So we invite you to explore our new website, register as a user and/or an OSCA member, and check back often to see what's new and happening. Welcome to the OSCA community network.
