Fall Fest 2011 was scheduled for October 16. Being fall, the weather chose not to cooperate that day, but the rain date of Sunday, Oct. 23 did, and the photos in our gallery prove it. Tom Alfoldi and Dinos Dafniotis spent a happy few hours snapping their cameras around the park as revellers noshed, played, face painted, and talked with the animals at Windsor Park in Old Ottawa South. The turn out was good, and even Darth Vader dropped by to say hello to Sarah and Owen, who ran games for the children.
Local vendor Yummy Cookies sold their delicious baked goods to an eager young crowd. Much good food was also donated by attendees—and the fresh weather made appetites keen.
Talking with the animals: "Hey, how ya doin'?" A goat from Alpenblick Farm seems to have enjoyed the opportunity to mingle.
