After Four Volunteers Needed - Information Session Sept. 10

High School Students with a genuine interest in volunteering in our 2012/2013 After Four program need to attend the Firehall’s Volunteer Information session on Monday, September 10, 6:30 pm at the Ottawa South Community Centre. This is a great opportunity for youth to contribute to the community while learning skills they can use in a variety of environments. Students can also use any hours of volunteer service accumulated to go towards the Ontario’s High School Community Service Program. A police check will be required for all volunteers prior to their placement. Students should register for the session on line at www.oldottawasouth.ca, by phone 613-247-4946 or at the Ottawa South Community Centre, 260 Sunnyside Ave. There are a limited number of placements available.
