Our Wonderful Parks

What would we do without them! Residents of Old Ottawa South are blessed with two of the most magnificent public parks that the City has to offer - Brewer Park to the West and Windsor Park to the East. Both are bordered by the mighty Rideau River and offer a multitude of opportunities for outdoor recreation. These two parks offer something for everyone, from Tennis Courts and a Wading pool to Basketball courts, Soccer pitches and Baseball Diamonds - we've got it all! In Winter, both Brewer and Windsor parks offer outdoor skating rinks. At Brewer park there is even a speed skating oval maintained by City staff (when was the last time you saw a Zamboni driving around in a public Park?). Residents of Old Ottawa South also enjoy several smaller parks which are scattered throughout the neighbourhood. Linda Thom Park, Brighton Park and Osborne park offer additional opportunities to get outside and enjoy the fresh air.
