Carleton University Library is a full-service academic library, supporting the information needs of the Carleton University community. The Library maintains a printed collection of over two million volumes and a growing collection of electronic products (some of which are available through their website).
Several libraries in the Ottawa region have joined together to provide the "Capital Sm@rt Library" portal, where you can search all participating libraries and discover which library holds the material you want. You can then apply for a temporary user card or request the item through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
Use of the Library is free of charge to Carleton faculty, staff and students. Carleton alumni may use the library for a fee of $25 per year. Members of the general public may also use the library, if they pay the annual $75 borrower's fee.
Public users may take materials out for a 2-week period.
