Old Ottawa South is served by the Centretown Community Health Centre, and the students, staff, and faculty of Carleton University have access to the university's health services. In addition, there are many wellness-related programs offered in the community through individual businesses. OSCA also offers programs and workshops. Centretown Community Health Centre’s team of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, counsellors, dieticians, community developers, and health promoters deliver more than 60 programs. Community Health Centres are community-run organizations tailored to community needs and resources and committed to building healthier communities. The community health centre model of care is unique: the services go beyond primary health care to address the underlying conditions that affect one’s health.

Health and Counselling Services (HCS) is a multidisciplinary healthcare facility that provides medical, counselling and a health promotion program to Carleton University students, faculty and staff.

A multidisciplinary staff, comprised of family physicians, psychiatrists, counsellors, registered nurses, a health educator, support staff and student peer educators, provide comprehensive medical  services, including treatment of illness, immunizations, birth control information, and a health education program. Their Counselling services have professionally trained counsellors and psychiatrists to help with personal and emotional difficulties.
