The property has been sold and the house is to be replaced by three 3-story townhouses. You can review the development plan and make comments at the City of Ottawa.
The previous owners, Howard Orr and his wife, were long-time residents, and very little inside the house has changed in at least 40 years.
The design of the townhouse infill has inconsistencies with the neighbourhood and the City's own guidelines. For example, the garage doors will take up the main floor space where OOS porches normally are, and the peaked roof will extend well above neighbouring houses. (There are 3 full floors with an empty roof structure placed on top, unlike 3-story houses nearby, where the 3rd floor is the tapered roof.)
