There was chilly fun and "chili fun" at this year's OSCA Winter Carnival, Feb. 7, 2010.

Sunday Feb. 7th broke bright and beautiful and stayed that way, great for gathering in Windsor Park for food and frolics. Steaming pots of chili and home-baked bread were up for judging in the Chili Cook-Off, then were free to be polished off by the OOS crowd.
And the winners were:
- Scott Clark for best spicy and best overall chili
- Patty's Pub for best meat chili
- Melinda Wells for best vegetarian chili
- Mary Anne Thompson for best bread
An additional prize was awarded later by judge John Taylor of Domus Cafe to Michael Honeywell Dobbin, whose bread disappeared before the judging but was later found. After tasting it, John Taylor said it may have won, given the chance, and kindly donated the extra prize.
