The Ottawa Citizen has taken note of a local issue with a house recently sold at 34 Brighton Avenue where the owner wanted to sell to a non-developer. The beautiful large lot next to Brighton Beach now has a Committee of Adjustment Notice of Public Hearing sign indicating that the existing house will be torn down and four houses—two semi-detached constructions—built in its place.
