The residents of Holmwood Avenue in the Glebe have organized a petition against the conversion of the park on the south side of Holmwood into condos. You may have seen the hard-copy at some Glebe businesses—they have a very respectable number of signatures. This strip of Sylvia Holden Park is very important as an urban forest, as well as providing a shield between Lansdowne activities and the residents of Holmwood Avenue. —Editor's note.
