Every winter, the Special Events Committee organizes a carnival to celebrate the season and give Old Ottawa South residents a chance to have a good time in the snow.

LOCAL CHILI COOK-OFF
- Chili contest, Judging at 1:00 pm ; please bring your chili to the park by noon. Prizes for Best Meat, Vegetarian, and Spiciest!
- Hot soup and Chili is free for everyone
- Free Hot Dogs, Soup and Chili
12:00 -2:00 SLEIGH RIDES

11:30 – 2:00 GAMES by Your Favourite Firehall Staff
- Tug of war, parachute games and more....
12:00 – 1:30 TURKEY TOSS
- Try your luck! $2:00/ tickets - the closest toss to the button wins the 50/50 draw
1:00 – 2: 00 DOG GAMES
- Prizes will be given - you can find the dogs and their owners at the tennis courts
ANYTIME
- Warm up with some hot chocolate, cider or coffee; buy a rafflle ticket, guess the jelly beans
