Winter 2012 Programs The Program Guide fo the OSCA 2012 programs is now online here. Please have a look at the great programs being offered this winter, from cooking workshops at Life of Pie and Digital Photography with local photorapher extraordinaire Tom Alfoldi to our standard popular health and fitness for adults, and of course lots of programs for the kids. Online registration begins Dec. 7 at 8 pm, walk-in at the Firehall Dec. 8 at 9 pm.

OOS Movie Producer Michael A. Dobbin Presents! Old Ottawa South resident and movie producer Michael A. Dobbin presents The Maiden Danced to Death from Quiet Revolution Pictures (Canada) with Cinema-Film (Hungary) and Casablanca Films (Slovenia), opening this Friday, Dec. 2 at Empire 7, World Exchange Plaza, 111 Albert St. It received "Official Selection" status at several film festivals, was written and directed by Screen Actor’s Guild award recipient Endre Hules, with other sterling actors and participants. Congratulations, Michael!

Shout Brother!, a Men's ChoirShout Brother!, a men's choir led by Chris White, meets on Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Georgetown Pub, 1159 Bank Street. Participants learn foot-tapping pop and gospel songs by singing vocal parts distributed on CDs.

Habitat For Humanity Christmas Tree Sale
