OSCA Seeks New Executive Director The Old Ottawa South Community Association (OSCA) is looking for a dynamic and community oriented individual to be its new Executive Director. This is a full-time managerial position that will help OSCA transition to an expanded role in delivering community programming in Old Ottawa South. The position would commence in mid-April 2012. An annual salary of up to $60,000 is being offered for this position, depending on qualifications and experience.

For residents of Old Ottawa South the main problem with proposed redevelopment of Lansdowne Park will be traffic and parking.

OCDSB Accommodation Study Meeting: OOS and Hopewell Dissent

Hopewell and OOS reps are drafting a Minority Report for submission to the School Board, in which a comprehensive set of alternative recommendations will be made to the newly presented Report. The Majority Report was presented to the Board on November 17 at 7:30 pm at the OCDSB offices at 133 Greenbank Road. The Minority Report will be presented at a meeting on November 30, at 7:30 pm, at the same location. |
