The Garden Club welcomes Master Gardener and Rose Advisor with Friends of the Experimental Farm, Edythe Falconer. Edythe will answer all your questions about preparing roses to survive Ottawa winters. Other topics discussed will be: varieties of roses and their characteristics, choosing the right rose for your garden, conditions required for healthy growth, and on-going maintenance. There will be an opportunity to buy some potted up annual plants that need to spend winter out of the cold- hibiscus, dipledenia for two examples- proceeds to help with club expenses.
