Rideau Corridor Landscape Strategy

Parks Canada has committed to undertaking an assessment of the visual character of the Canal Corridor as part of what is being called the Rideau Corridor Landscape Strategy. The goal of the strategy is to work with First Nations, federal and provincial agencies, municipalities, NGOs, property owners and others to build a new vision for the Rideau. The end result will be guidelines that can be implemented by everyone with a stake in the future quality of the Corridor.

The Rideau Corridor Landscape Strategy Committee (RCLS) has issued the following document:

Centretown Community Design Plan Completed

For Old Ottawa South residents who have been interested in developing our own Community Design Plan, you may wish to have a look at the newly completed Centretown Community Design Plan, which can be read here (94.6 MB PDF).

Having incorporated feedback from this blog, our last community open house and a technical review undertaken by various City of Ottawa departments, the Centretown Community Design Plan is now released! You can download the CDP in its entirety here (94.6 MB PDF). Alternatively, you can download it by chapter by using the bar on the right hand side.
